My experience at the Sonnenalp was a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the spa services were nothing short of divine. However, the issues with the room not being ready on time and the gas fireplace malfunctioning put a damper on our stay. While the location in Vail Village is perfect for access to activities, the high prices for amenities left me feeling that the value could be improved.

The dining options, especially the breakfast buffet, were delightful, although I felt some amenities could be more clearly priced. Overall, while it is on the pricey side, the service and facilities justify the cost.
