Sonnenalp Hotel Vail, Vail

My experience at the Sonnenalp was a mixed bag. On one hand, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the spa services were nothing short of divine. However, the issues with the room not being ready on time and the gas fireplace malfunctioning put a damper on our stay. While the location in Vail Village is perfect for access to activities, the high prices for amenities left me feeling that the value could be improved.

Sonnenalp provided a truly exceptional experience during my stay, with outstanding service that truly made me feel welcomed. The breakfast was simply the best I've had, with an impressive selection that made each morning a delight. I also enjoyed the spa services that helped me to unwind after a long day of skiing. However, check-in was a bit delayed, which might be an inconvenience for those arriving early.

I had a splendid stay at the Sonnenalp, where the combination of luxury and warmth truly impressed me. The decor is beautifully Old World, which only adds to the charm of the overall experience. The dining options, especially the breakfast buffet, were delightful, although I felt some amenities could be more clearly priced. Overall, while it is on the pricey side, the service and facilities justify the cost.

Staying at Sonnenalp felt like a homecoming. The warmth and hospitality of the staff made our visit truly special. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, providing a delightful start to our days. However, the dining options for lunch and dinner outside of the hotel could offer more variety. Overall, it's a fantastic retreat in the heart of Vail.
